Cone Selvedge Denim Apron
A special addition for the Denim-heads and all around material lovers. This selvedge denim apron is made from 'dead stock' Cone denim from the former White Oak, NC plant.
Cone denim was once the benchmark of quality in American selvedge denim. The White Oak facility in NC was the producer of traditional selvedge denim for almost 150 years. From the early days of the Levi Strauss Co. Cone has been producing superior denim on classic looms. A process that's now long gone. In 2017 the Cone - White Oak facility ran its last production of selvedge denim and traditional American selvedge denim was no more.
These special edition Cone Authentic Workshop Aprons are made from the last remaining Cone - Selvedge denim produced in White Oak, NC. I purchased a small lot of this exclusive denim only for these aprons just before White Oak closed their doors in 2017.
Paired with saddle-tan Italian leather front pocket and straps. Each comes lined in your choice of liner.
Like most things made here, these are made to order and ship within 1-2 weeks of ordering. If you have any special requests please send a message at the time of purchase and I will be sure to contact you prior to making and shipping your item.
